Meet Your Guru
Ketaki Ghanekar trained in Mumbai under Guru Vidya Subramaniam (Patel) and holds a master's degree in Indian Classical Dance from the Arts Society of Mumbai. She founded Nrityam School of Dance in 2012 to teach Bharatanatyam here in Kansas City. Six of her students have completed their Arangetram in the past two years.

Six students completed Arangetram in last Two years
An Arangetram is a dancer's debut solo — the culmination of a decade of training, performed before a live audience with musicians brought from India for the occasion. Six of Ketaki's students have completed theirs in the past two years, the first graduates of a school founded in 2012.
"Students start to feel more confident as they learn more." — Ketaki Ghanekar
